At Artefact, we believe in products that stay with you for a long time.
That's why all our bags and accessories come with a repair warranty: 32 years for bags and 5 years for accessories.
Bags repairable for life, or nearly: 32 years
- 0 to 2 years: free repair, shipping included.
- 2 to 32 years: repair still free, you only pay return shipping (approx. €15 in France).
Why 32 years?
Because we wanted to go much further than the 2-year legal guarantee. We add 30 years of repair warranty on top, so you get a product that lasts for the very long term. We could have said “lifetime warranty”, but we don't know how long you'll be around. We prefer to say 32 years: it's clear, concrete and a real commitment.
Accessories repairable for 5 years
- 0 to 2 years: free repair, shipping included.
- 2 to 5 years: free repair, shipping at your expense (approx. €15).
What our warranty covers
- Manufacturing defects
- Seams coming apart
- Broken zips
- Faulty straps or buckles
- Problems caused by normal wear and tear when the product is used as intended
- Repairs carried out in our workshop or by approved partners
What isn't covered
- Loss or theft of the product
- Damage caused by misuse (e.g. machine washing, burns, deliberate cuts)
- Deliberate damage or modification of the product
- Stains or discolouration caused by unsuitable care
- Abnormal wear from using the product for something it wasn't designed for (e.g. putting a 30 kg beer tap in a duffel bag)

If a repair is possible, we'll always do it.
Even if the damage isn't covered by the warranty, we'll offer you a solution: a transparent quote, or sometimes just a phone call to talk it through. Our mission: make your products last, whatever it takes.
